There are some people who would rather please man than God. How does that work? Could mankind give you glory? is he the sustenance of all life? Did mankind make the heavens? God asked Job some hard questions (Job chapter 38 .) Not that Job was a faithless character, for we know that he remained faithful until the end. God just wanted to remind Job of his glory and that he is the source of all things. Man needs God as well, your friends need God sometimes they don't know it but they do. So who do you go to for assistance? Your friends? family? Co-workers? Turn to God first and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalms 37:4-5. Parents do not bring up children in the fear of the lord sad to say. and they grow up "willy nilly" as they say and the world eats them up unfortunately. Should they know of the peace of the Lord they will have a better status. I did and so are you. Teach them about the "real Jesus".
