Now if someone tells us that the Lincoln Memorial which is the most revered in American history I mean, it is connected to (George Washington the first President and American History etc. ). Or that the C.N. tower is a hall mark of Canada we believe it. I mean, ,most of us were'nt born when any of these buildings came into existence but we believe what we were told anyway. Why is it so hard to believe in Jesus's existence from eye witnesses to his resurrection who would rather die than not tell the truth about his resurrection? Listen to what Peter had to say in 2Peter 1:16, " For we have not followed cunningly devised fables,when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eye witnesses of his majesty." Now how's that for testimony? They were eye witnesses so they were not lying. And if you are not satisfied with that how about all the prophecies in the Old Testament that predicted the exact way the messiah not to mention his coming. Psalm 22 is filled with O.T. prophecies about Jesus. I guess what I am saying is, never mind what any body say to you. Jesus is real. He died real, and was resurrected real. So some people say, Why Christianity? why not another religion? they have faith.
here's the deal, that's the thing FAITH. If you have the same faith in Jesus who is authentic then you will understand why become a christian. Check out the facts about Old Testament prophecies about him, and that all have been fulfilled, then we will all see that he is supreme for no other prophet, teacher or priest has fulfilled all the prophecies about Jesus like he did.
